NAKSHA Capacity-Building Program Phase 2 Starts June 2

• 1The Department of Land Resources (DoLR) will conduct the second phase of capacity-building under the NAKSHA programme starting June 2, 2025.
• 2The first phase trained 160 master trainers and was completed in May 2025.
• 3The training is inaugurated virtually by Shri Manoj Joshi and will involve 304 ULB-level and district officers.
• 4The training will last for a week and will be conducted at five Centres of Excellence.
• 5The program aims to equip officials with skills for high-accuracy land surveys using modern geospatial technologies.
• 6Training modules include program frameworks, surveying, web-GIS applications, land parcel mapping, and legal aspects.
• 7NAKSHA is implemented by the DoLR in association with Survey of India, NICSI, MPSeDC, and five CoEs in 157 ULBs.
