- AAhmad Shah
- BMahmud Begarha
- CBahadur ShahCorrect
- DMuhammad Shah
Explanation
Bahadur Shah was the Sultan of Gujarat who had significant interactions and conflicts with the Portuguese in the early 16th century. Facing pressure from the growing Mughal Empire under Humayun, Bahadur Shah sought assistance from the Portuguese. In 1534, he signed the Treaty of Bassein with the Portuguese, ceding the island of Bassein and its dependencies to them and promising to give them Diu. Later, he was killed by the Portuguese in 1537 during negotiations concerning the fort of Diu. This event eventually led to the Portuguese gaining complete control over Diu.
