Explanation
The King Cobra is the only snake in the world that builds a nest.
The female King Cobra uses its body to gather dry leaves and forest debris into a mound. It lays its eggs inside this mound and stays to guard the nest until the hatchlings emerge. This behavior is unique among snakes because most other species either lay eggs in existing crevices or give birth to live young without providing any maternal care or nest construction. The Chain viper, Krait, and Saw scaled viper do not build nests.
