Explanation

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was initially elected to the Constituent Assembly from East Bengal in 1946. However, after the partition of India, East Bengal became part of Pakistan, and he lost his seat. To ensure his continued participation in drafting the Constitution, the Congress party assisted him in getting re-elected from the Bombay Presidency. M.R. Jayakar resigned from his seat in Bombay to create a vacancy for Ambedkar. Therefore, his final membership in the assembly was representing the Bombay Presidency.
