  1. A$(3)/(2)$Correct
  2. B$(4)/(3)$
  3. C$(3)/(4)$
  4. D$(15)/(2)$

Explanation

To find the time when the two trains are 150 km apart, we use the concept of relative speed. Since the trains are moving in opposite directions (one North and one South), their relative speed is the sum of their individual speeds. Relative Speed = 60 kmph + 40 kmph = 100 kmph. The formula for time is Distance divided by Speed. Time = 150 km / 100 kmph = 1.5 hours. In fraction form, 1.5 is equal to 3/2. Therefore, the trains will be 150 km apart after 3/2 hours. Option A is the correct answer.
