Explanation
The 'Right to Privacy' is protected under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. The Supreme Court of India, in its landmark judgment in K.S. Puttaswamy vs. Union of India (2017), unanimously declared the Right to Privacy as a fundamental right, inherently protected under Article 21 (Right to Life and Personal Liberty) and also forming an intrinsic part of other fundamental rights guaranteed under Part III of the Constitution.
